A mix- ture of oats and Chancellor field peas was used last year for green feed and with very good success. The rate of sow- ing was 134 bushels of oats to 2 bushels of peas per acre. The variety of potatoes grown is Gold Coin. It belongs to the Green JMountain group and is a late or main crop variety. The seed used on the Station is from. cer-- tified stock and in 1931 yielded 500 bushels per acre of fine guality tubers.
