Fitzgerald; L.F'.; Roy Howe, Pitcher. MINNITAKI By Mrs. G. E. L. On Thursday, -August 3rd; the Minnitaki Women's Institute met at the home of Mrs. W. Howell. Fifteen members answered the roll call. After the usual business was dealt with, Mrs. Philbrook read a very interest- ing paper on Canadian Industries. Miss Nora Rand demonstrated mak- ing fabric flowers. and Mrs. Howell showed 'us some samples showing every kind of stitch, patch and darn that she had. made thirty-five years ago when a teacher in England. The meeting closed with the National Anthem, and a dainty lunch was served by Mrs. and Miss Howell The next meeting will be held on September 15th, owing to the school fair being on our usual meeting date, and will be in the form of a social evening for the members and fam- ilies and friends, and will be held in the school.
