Anyone attempting to run a store, even a small depart- mental store like this, one has no need to send for a series of Health Lessons or Exercises. I believe quite a satisfactory rink can be built for as little as $6,000 while our contract was for $10,305.00. This gives us a regulation size hockey ice and two curling sheets, besides two large dressing rooms. The dressing rooms are on each side at the end of the curling ice; this leaves a large stand- ing space just inside the main entrance at the end, which together with a walk down each side gives us standing room for approximately 1200 people. It is entirely covered with galvanized iron, which costs $700.00 more than lumber. With iron sheeting however, the in- surance rate it 50 cts per hundied less.
