She was noted for her friendly and happy dis- position and wag one of those who made you fee] go welcome when you dropped into her house, whether yon Were invited or not, An evening of music at the Whiteley's home is a Whiteley as the hostess, We all regret her death very much, and feel unspeakable sorrow for the boys who have Jost such a good moth- er and the husband, so devoted a wife, The late Mrs Whiteley was only forty-three years old. She was born in England, ang had lived in this coun- try for nine years. Besides her hushb- and, she is survived by three sons, Eric Ronald and Frank, There are no other living relatives in this country, Funeral service was held from the United Church, Dryden, on Tuesday aftetrnoon, Rev. H. A. Rivers conduct- ing the service, The church was filled with Sorrowing friends of the family and the floral tributes were beautiful. The members of the L.O.O.F. and the Rebekah Lodges attended, and as Mrs Whiteley was a member of Easter Lily Rebekah Lodge, No. 153, the members of this Lodge took charge of the latter part of the servi~e at the graveside, a very impressive trisyte to their departed sister.
