WHEREAS it is expedient to borrow, for the purpose of making necessary alterations to the Town Hall of the Town of Dryden, and to provide for the erection of a suitable fire hall for the said town, the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars, and that is the amount of debt intended to be created by this by-law. AND WHEREAS the amount of the whole rateable property of the Municipality which is liable for all rates is Three Hundred and Fifty-six Thousand, Five Hundred and Thirteen (356,513.00) Dollars. : AND WHEREAS the amount of the existing debenture debt of the corporation is the sum of Sixteen Thousand Four Hundred and Seventy-three 80-100 Dollars ($16,473.80) of which sum the sum of Twelve Thousand Two hundredm and ninety-six 14-100 Dollars ($12,296.14) is principal and the sum of Four Thousand One Hundred and Seventy-seven 66-100 Dollars ($4,177.60) is interest, no part of the principal or interest of which is in arrear. Be it therefore enacted by the Municipal Council of the Corpora- | tion of the Town of Dryden. I. For the purposes mentioned in the preamble there shall be borrowed on the credit of the Corporation of the Town of Dryden the said usm of Ten Thousand Dollars, which sum shall bear interest at the rate of six per centum per annum, and debentures shall be issued therefore on the instalment plan in sums of not less than' $100.00 each. 2.
