The home branch of the Soldiers' Settlement Board plans to hold a one- day demonstration short course in Dryden Town Hall, October 21st, be- ginning at 9 o'clock sharp. These lectures will be on some of the follow- | ing subects:-- 1 Bread Making. 2 Fruit, milk and vegetable dishes. 3 Foods and Food Values. 2 Poultry Raising. 5 Home Nursing. The Women's Institute of Dryden have been asked to co-operate with Miss Conover and have arranged to take care of any out-oftown women attend the course.
