LTD., Hereinafter called the "Company," OF THE HRST PART . --and--' THE CORPORATION if the TOWN OF DRYDEF, Herein after called the -"Torporation" OF THE SECOND PART WHEREAS the Company, under Agreement dated April 1918 supplies the Corporation with Electric Power, said Agreement terminates ¢n April 1st, 1923. And WHEREAS it has been agreed between the parties hereto that said Agreement subsisting between the Company and the Corporation shall be mutually released. NOW THIg AGREEMENT WIT- NESSETH that in consideration of the premises and of the covenants and agreéiiicmin hevainaftan snntained, the Company and the Corporation | hereby COVENANT and AGREE cach with the other as follows:-- 1 The Corporation agrees to sell, grant, assign and set over unto the Company all its right, title and inter- est in and to that Part of Lot Number 7, in the Second Concession of the Township of Wainwright, in the Dis- trict of Kenora, lying South of a line drawn due Hast and West across said Lot in the centre of the said Conces- - "| sion, and lying West of the Wabigoon River, eontaining 71 acres more or less, and which lands are in the office of Land Titles at Kenora as parcel 5983 in the Register for the District it of Kenora, at and for the price or sum of $5000.00, being the Corporation's total outlay to date in connection with the said lands; And further agrees to assign to the said Company all the Corporation's lease of the water power rights in the Wabigoon River at the said Lot 7, granted by the Department of Lands and Forests to the said Corporation under date of the day of The said Company agreeing to fulfil all the conditions of the said lease. 2 The Company agrees to furnish electric power to the Corporation for a term of years, said term of years to be co-terminous with the lease of the Wainwright water power granted by the Ontario Government to the Cor- poration snd assigned to the Company The Company agrees to reserve for the use of the Corporation a maximum of 200 h.p. The Corporation shall pay to the Company $20.00 per h.p. per annum for power used. The Corpora- tion guarantees to accept current as aforesaid from the Company to the extent of at least $1440.00 per annum and hereafter undertakes to pay to the Company any deficiency caused by the Corporation not consuming suffi- cient to amount to the said sum of $1440.00. Charges for the power consumed to be rendered monthly by the Company to the Corporation, it being agreed that the minimum monthly charge shall be $120.00. 8. The Company shall be at liberty to supply electric light and telephone wires on any and all poles owned by the Corporation which will enable the Company to furnish electric light and telephone service to residences now occupied by J. B. Beveridge, and four other bona fide officials' residences of the Company, which are or may be erected on the property known as the Skene property, in the Town of Dry- den.
