Appel from com- plete destruction. His mother and little daughter at the time were visit- ing friends, while Mr Appel was out working. The Ganglof brothers happened to pass the house and noticed big clouds of smoke, which made them suspect the worst. By prompt action they contrived to extinguish the fire. The only damage resulting was a big hole in the floor and some damage to the furniture. : 4 ------000 WALDHOF-- The Brass Band en- larged and well broke in now, will open this new season with a dance on April the 2nd in the Waldhof Hall We all will go and show the boys how much we appreciate their work and have a good time besides.
