This will include the most northerly portion of the farm, which has not been used up to the present. Speaking of the remark- it was noticed some days ago that a vener- able grey- haired gentleman ¢msisted that hg act as Caddy for a friend and his wife, so that he. could form his own unprejud' 'ced opinion of the sport The friend was an absolute tyro and thy score made would have been good at cricket. The self-appointed caddy had concealed a logging counter in his pocket and the constant 'tick-tock sounded like a dollar watch.-- It is considered that the friend had a per- fect alibi. There are many golf stories going i 'the rounds, but the fact remains that Drydey, is fortunate fn having an ex- cellent Club at a low membership fee and so very near town. When all is 'said and dome, it cannot be denied that this is a fascinating, health- giving game which appeals to all persons; irrespective of race rank or creed. All players are expected to be in possesion of membership tick ets by June First, and the nominal rolls are always open for all who 'wish to sign up. The committee earnestly desire that : drivers of cars keep on the driveway in going to and from the parking space.
