Tuckey left for Win- nipeg on Tuesday morning with a car load of hogs. A very interesting ball game was played at Oxdrift on Satur- day, May 20th, between Minni- taki and Oxdrift school boys. The score was eleven to forty- three in favor of Oxdrift. The return game will be played at Minnitaki on May 27th. The Oxdrift Women's Institute held their annual meeting at the home of Myrs. Jas. Spalding on May 18th, twenty-one members being present. After the yearly report was read and adopted, the following officers were elected: President--Mrs. Jas. Spalding; Vice-President--Mrs. R. Barker; See.-Treas.--Mrs. W. MacTavish; Dist. Director--Mrs. A. Brown. ing; Directors--Mrs. M. Me- Tavish, Mrs. W. Jones, Miss M. Corner, Mrs. H. Pateman; Dele- gates to District Meeting to be held in Eagle River in June are: Mrs. H. Pateman, Mrs. J. Spal- ding, Mrs. W. MacTavish; Aundi- tors-- Mrs. Fred Brignall, Miss D. Griffiths. After the meeting closed, a dainty lunch was serv- ed by Mrs. Spalding. The next meeting is to be held at the home of Mrs. W.
