Memorial services were held at the Winnetka Congregational Church for Nicholas Amos, Sr., age 74. He was a North Shore resident of 40 years, formerly residing in Winnetka, Northfield and Glenview, who died at his home in Crystal River, Florida. Mr. Amos was well known in the advertising business in Chicago. He retired as Midwest manager of the (American Weekly( in 1972; and then became an account executive with MacFadden Bartell Publications. He was active in the North Shore Senior Center, Winnetka.
