Age 91; born in Brookline, Massachusetts to Orrin G. and Cecil (Thompson) Wood; 1934 graduate of Miss Porter's School and 1938 graduate of Smith College; married March 29, 1941 in Brookline; deeply involved in U.S. Tennis Association; won numerous state and national titles; involved in Chicago District Tennis Association for 20 years; inducted into Western Tennis Association Hall of Fame in 1994; created a scholarship for the USTA Tennis & Education Fund in 2005; preceded in death by her brothers, Hamilton, Arthur and Harcourt Wood. - Date of Publication
