Age 81; resident of Huntley IL, formerly of Evanston; born in Moline IL to Fritz and Alma (nee Eldean) Munter; graduated from Moline H.S. in 1948 and received her RN from Presbyterian St. Luke's School of Nursing in Chicago in 1951; served as occupational health nurse for Deere & Company in Moline; married on June 7, 1952, returned to Chicago , served as clinic head nurse and emergency room head nurse at Presbyterian St. Luke's; taught English in Japan during 1950s while husband in U.S. Army; moved to Evanston, active in (foster relative( program for foreign students at Northwestern U., P.T.A. at Willard School, served as Brownie leader, volunteer at Beacon House on Chicago's South Side, longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Evanston; 1966 moved to New York City, lived in Katonah and Syracuse NY; age 67 resumed study towards bachelor's degree, 1997 oldest alumna in nursing of State U. of New York's Uptate Medical University; 1999 moved to Huntley IL; served as deacon of First Congregational Church, head of Friends of Library Book Corner and volunteer with Hospice of Northeastern Illinois; preceded in death by her husband, Alfred on Thanksgiving day in 2010 - Date of Publication
