Age 80; born in Red Wing MN, the only child of George S. and Alma (nee Lund) Olsen and grew up in Evanston IL; 1940 her father was Assistant Principal of Evanston Township H.S.; 1942 moved to LaGrange IL, father became Superintendent of Lyons Township H.S.; graduated from Lyons Township H.S. in 1947 and from Northwestern U. in 1951 with major in art; decorator for Watson and Bowler, a Michigan Avenue interior design firm; married May 2, 1953 at First Presbyterian Church of LaGange; lived in Evanston and Wilmette, 1965 moved to Northbrook; 30 years on Board of Directors and Executive Vice President of her husband's company, Bennett Brothers Inc.; active in charities including Infant Welfare Society of Evanston, The Alumnae of Northwestern U., Delta Gamma Sorority, Hadley School for the Blind, New Trier Parents Association and The University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation Women's Board; member of Sunset Ridge Country Club and The University Club of Chicago; preceded in death by her husband, Gail
