Born in Glenview, IL to Charles and Lucille (Brown) Coverley. Roger's enthusiasm for an engaging life kept him interested and active in local and national politics. He met his wife, Celia, as a Young Republican, in Chicago in the early 1960s. They were married in 1963. They shared a life full of passion for their family and community.Roger was honored in April 2015 by the Republican Party of Seminole (FL) County with the County Leadership and Republican of the Year award. Roger worked for Waste Management in Illinois. With his family, he lived in Glenview, Oak Park, Joliet, and Galesburg, IL. Roger and Celia retired to Florida in 1998. A memorial service will be held at markham Woods Presbyterian Church, 5210 Markham Woods Rd, Lake Mary, FL on June 6, 2015 at 11 am.
