Carmel H.S., studied finance and economics at U. of Notre Dame, graduated magna cum laude in 1950; 2nd lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict; joined Harris Bankcorp in 1952, named president in 1983 and retired as vice chairman in 1992, on Board of Directors through 1994; on Board of Directors of Evanston Hospital, Catholic Charities of Chicago, Big Shoulders of Chicago, Chicago Chapter of the American Cancer Society, Board of Schwarz Paper in Morton Grove
