Age 88; longtime resident of Kenilworth IL; born in St. Louis MO; AA Degree from Hannibal-LaGrange College in 1948, MS Degree in Education from U. of Missouri in 1950, attended the Sorbonne, U. of Paris, in 1954; taught 5th grade in Park Forest school system from 1950-54 and in Glencoe from 1954-57; MA Degree from Northwestern U. in diagnosis and remediation of learning disabilities, returned to Glencoe school system until 1970; taught graduate courses in learning disabilities at Northwestern from 1978-86; completed all but a doctoral thesis for a doctorate in cognitive development from Northwestern, left to care for an elder family member; preceded in death by her daughter, Jane Ewing (Larry) Cramer
