Age 84; resident of Spring Green WI, formerly of Northfield IL; born in Evanston to Walter and Mary Glass; graduated from Princeton U. in 1953; U.S Olympic Alternate for heavyweight wrestling in 1956 (inducted into Eastern Collegiate Wrestling Association Hall of Fame in 2001); married in 1953; member of U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team (now Navy Seals); graduate of U. of Michigan Law School; in Illinois, co-founded a law firm, Village Attorneys for Northfield and Palatine in 1970s and 80s; served as Representative and Senator in Illinois Legislature for 8 years in 1970s; moved to Wisconsin in 1987, became Attorney for City of Dodgeville; president of local Habitat for Humanity and Kiwanis, on boards of Wisconsin Riverway and Driftless Area Land Conservancy; preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Mary - Date of Publication
