Age 92; born in Russia, coming to the U.S. at age 19; served in the U.S. Navy during WWII; in 1946 started G&M Electrical Contractors headquartered in Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago and in 1970 built the Lincolnwood Jewish Congregation; after retiring to Florida was a leader of a construction committee that built the Aventura-Turnberry Jewish Center, also construction coordinator for Beth Yascov Safra Congregation's synagogue in Aventura; with his wife Ruth received honors for raising funds for Israel
