Age 85; graduated from New Trier H.S. in 1948 and Yale U. in 1952 with B.S. degree in Engineering, member of ROTC; served two years in U.S. Navy with rank of Lieutenant; graduated from Northwestern School of Law in 1957, also completed accreditation as CPA; joined Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, then longtime Tax Partner at Arthur Andersen, retired in 1988; formed Hackbarth & Hudson P.C.; preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Katherine and his parents, Alice and Alfred E.
