Age 78; 48-year resident of Winnetka IL, died of complications from Multiple Systems Atrophy; born in New York City, lived on Long Island; 1947 moved with family to Highland Park; attended U. of Chicago, transferred to Swarthmore College, MBA from Harvard; held four positions in finanace and investments, 1971 joined Lincoln Capital Management Company, president for nearly 30 years; 2000 received Hortense Friedman Award from Investment Analysts Society of Chicago; enjoyed playing tennis, jazz piano and fishing
