Age 97; born in Germantown, IL, the fifth of eleven children, to Bernardine Timmermann and George Henken; attended St. Boniface Catholic School; after graduating eighth grade worked at Kenrick Seminary in Webster Groves, MO; came to Techny, IL in October 1930, professed her vows in 1939; attended high school at Holy Ghost Academy, bachelor's degree from DePaul U. in 1946; taught at schools in southern U.S. as well as St. Norbert in Northfield; later coordinator of the Retreat Center at the Convent in Techny
