Age 95; longtime resident of Wilmette and Chicago IL; grew up as second son of John and Natalie Jordan near Wrigley Field; graduated near top of class from Francis Park School, Amherst College and Northwestern U. School of Law; worked for Montgomery Wards legal department; served as officer in U.S. Army in Counter Intelligence Corp during WWII; practiced law in LaSalle IL; married in 1951 and raised four children; returned to Chicago to form Van Duzer, Gershon, Jordan & Petersen law firm, retired in 1986 at age 70; served as occasional court appointed arbitrator; age 50 learned to water ski, age 60 to snow ski; preceded in death by his son, David C. and brother, Robert - Date of Publication
