Age 85; born in Madison, Wisconsin to William and Julia Brannon; longtime resident of Glenview; 1935 graduate of West H.S., 1939 graduate of the U. of Wisconsin; worked for the Kansas City Gas Company in Missouri and the U.S. government rationing program in Madison; volunteered for the Children's Home and Aid Society of Illinois' Auxiliary to Benefit Children, the Glenview Community Church, the Clyde Lyon Elementary School and the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America; longtime member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and PEO sisterhood; preceded in death by a brother, William Paul Brannon and sister, Betty Turpin
