Age 76; second child of Emmaline Hardwick Jourdain & Edwin Bush Jourdain Jr.; born in Chicago & grew up in Evanston IL; 1951 graduate of Evanston Township H.S., sang in School choral groups, read poetry, passion for building model airplanes; 1953 enlisted in U.S. Air Force, admitted to Air Force cadet training program at Lackland Air Base TX & earned officer's commission with rank of second lieutenant, 1957 honorably discharged, served in Air Force Reserves until 1961; 1964 Associates Degree from Kendall College, 1969 Bachelors Degree from Roosevelt U., graduate studies in psychology at Northwestern U., Masters of Science Degree from National College of Education & C.A.S.C. certification; December 1977-85 married to Millie Battle; career with personnel & policy positions at Searles, Museum of Science & Industry, Westinghouse & Hammond corporations; served at Parkside Treatment Center and Lifeline in Chicago, Family Treatment Center in Evanston, CAREUNIT in Skokie; 1989-2004 private practice in Evanston; 1993 began 17 year relationship with Paula Gliot; served as care-giver to his mother with sister, Rose Jourdain
