Survived by: his wife, Vivienne Kahle; three sons, Steven K. and Richard D., both of Wilmette, and George F. Jr. of New York City; his mother, Anna Kahle of Waukegan, IL; a sister Mrs. Hugh Hart of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and three grandchildren.
George Kahle, 65, a 20-year resident of Glenview, died in Glenbrook Hospital. He was president and owner of Kahle Chemical Corp in Gurnee, IL. He was a member of the Chicago Perfumers and Extractors Association, and also the Association of Professional Chemical Engineers in Chicago. Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Skokie, with the Rev. Waldo Johnson presiding.
