Kennedy, 68, a 37-year resident of golf, died at Loyola Medical Center. He was the owner of D.D. Kennedy, Inc. Distributors of heavy construction equipment. He was born in Moline. Requiem mass was said at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with Rev. Myles O'Donnell officiating.
