Age 84; resident of Glenview, IL; born in Chicago; attended Oak Park H.S., active in Grace Episcopal Church; graduate of Miami U. in Oxford, OH, member of Phi Beta kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa; served five years in U.S. Army during WWII in 185th Ordinance Battalion in France, Belgium and Germany, in 9th and 1st armies, rose from private to major, awarded Bronze Star; banking career as vice president for commercial loans at Chicago National Bank and Trust and later at First National Bank and Trust of Evanston, retired in 1981; served on vestry of St. David Episcopal Church in Glenview, junior warden, senior warden and treasurer, trustee and treasurer for St. Leonard House, a halfway house for released convicts - Date of Publication
