Age 72; born in the Bronx section of New York City to Denis and Anne (nee Huvane) Sheil and after their early deaths, raised by her aunt and uncle, Robert and Patricia Sheil; graduate of the Academy of Mount St. Ursula, received her bachelor's degree in history from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, New York and master's degree in education from Lehman College in New York City; retired in 2000 as a vice president after 20 years as an employee-benefits consultant for Marsh McLennan in Philadelphia; active volunteer at St. Norbert Church and School, the North Shore Senior Center and Northbrook Public Library; served as an interpreter in the Japanese Garden at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe; preceded in death by her brothers, Denis and James Sheil - Date of Publication
