Skyler NY; sporting goods buyer for Sears Chicago headquarters; sailing world champion, served as Commodore of Sheridan Shore Yacht Club in Wilmette; age 63 retired from Sears, received single engine pilot's license; 1986 moved to Littleton CO; 1988 death of his wife, Inga who immigrated to U.S. at age 8 from Moss, Norway
