Age 62; resident of Glencoe IL for 25 years, died of pancreatic cancer; grew up on Chicago's North Side (father immigrated to U.S. from Greece alone at age 13); graduate of Loyola U. and Northwestern U. Medical School; internship at U. of Chicago, psychiatric residency in Cincinnati; served two years in military as chief of Mental Hygiene Consultation Service and Fifth Army psychiatrist; completed residency at Michael Resse Hospital; entered private practice in 1967; graduated from Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis, certified by American Psychoanalytic Association in 1977; became training and supervising analyst in 1982
