Age 95; resident of Wilmette IL; born to William Clifton and Josephine Brandt Rhyne in Merifold MS; graduate of Pass Christian HS in Mississippi, class valedictorian and football team captain; 1937 degree in business administration from U. of Mississippi; served in U.S. Army during WWII, December 1944 wounded in Battle of the Bulge; served 14 years as Secretary-Treasurer of General Gas Corporation in Baton Rouge LA; acquired by Tuloma Gas Products in Tulsa OK, served as Controller; 1968 acquired by American Oil Company, employed 14 years as Assistant Comptroller, 1982 retired; member of Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette, American Society of CPA's and Financial Executives International; preceded in death in 1967 by his first wife of 25 years, Marjorie, and his two older brothers, George William and Thomas Clay Rhyne - Date of Publication
