Survived by: a son, Steven Schaefer of St. Louis, MO; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Cole of Hawaii; a stepson, Mark Dressel, and a stepdaughter, Lori Dressel, both of Glenview.
Marvin Schaefer, age 57, of Barclay Woods, Brielle, NJ, died at Point Pleasant Hospital in Point Pleasant, NJ. Mr. Schaefer is the husband of the former Glenview resident, Patricia Tomlinson Dressel, who survives him. He was a Monmouth County, New Jersey attorney and served as a municipal magistrate for a number of municipalities in the county. He was a graduate of the University of Florida and John Marshall Law School. Mr. Schaefer was a member of the Monmouth County and New Jersey Bar Associations, member and vice president of the Monmouth and Ocean County Development Council, New Jersey State president of the Navy League of the United States, a member of the Monmouth County Council of Boy Scouts and the Monmouth County Republican Finance Committee. Funeral services were held in Spring Lake, New Jersey.
