Age 74; born in Chicago to Mildred and Thomas Carr and grew up in Wrigleyville; attended Immaculata H.S. and graduated valedictorian, 1951 graduate of Mundelein College with a major in chemistry and minor in math; married on April 19, 1952; an accomplished equestrian, involved in her children's activities at OLPH School and Girl Scouts; helped her husband start Northview Laboratories of Northbrook, served as its financial services manager and corporate secretary for 25 years
