Age 87; resident of St. John's on the Lake in Milwaukee WI for three years, longtime resident of Glenview IL; born in Milwaukee to Marie Adler Stone and I. Stanley Stone (President of Boston Stores); graduated from Milwaukee Country Day School in 1945 and enlisted in U.S. Army; graduated with 18th Century Romantic Poetry degree from Yale U. in 1950 and MBA from Stanford Business School in 1952; joined I. Magnin's in San Francisco; moved to NYC to work on Wall Street as financial advisor/stock broker; married on January 7, 1956; moved to Glenview in 1958; financial advisor in Chicago for Betts Borland and Stifel, Nicholaus & Co. for 26 years; passionate about sailing and aviation; preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Stone Jr.
