Survived by: her parents, John and Mary Virginia Thorn of Rahway, NJ her twin, Maureen Thorn of Charlotte, NC; and a brother, John, of Edison, NJ.
Born in Rahway, MS., Marijean Thorn, 27, a former orthopedics clinical coordinator at Evanston Hospital, IL, died of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Charlotte, NC, where she worked as clinical coordinator of Mercy Hospital's medical nursing division. Miss Thorn joined the nursing staff of Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL in 1976 after graduating cum laude from Boston College, and worked as clinical coordinator from 1977 to 1979. She was born in Rahway, MS. A memorial fund was established in her name in Evanston Hospital's Department of nursing, to plant a tree on the hospital grounds. A memorial service was held on March 4, 1981 in Frank Auditorium of the hospital.
