Age 96; 56-year resident of Wilmette; grew up on a dairy farm outside of Philadelphia; 1934 graduate of Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, studied Modern Languages and a member of Phi Alpha Psi sorority; taught Latin and Romance Languages at Millersburg H.S. in Pennsylvania for 10 years, married in 1944 and moved to Chicago area; active in Girl Scouts, PTA, AAUW and the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette; taught Latin at Locust Jr. H.S. in Wilmette for 13 years; hobbies included tatting, sewing and curling at the Wilmette Curling Center; preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn (Irvin) Dewees - Date of Publication
