Age 95; resident of Evanston and Northbrook IL; born in San Francisco CA, moved with family to Territory of Hawaii at age 10; married in 1940 in rectory of Chicago's Holy Name Cathedral; joined U.S. Army in 1941, medical officer at Tripler General Hospital in Honolulu, witnessed Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima from an Army ship in Tokyo Bay in 1945; graduate of Northwestern U. and Northwestern U. Medical School, internship and Medical residency at Passavant Hospital in Chicago, fellowship in cardiology at New York Hospital and Columbia U.; practiced internal medicine in Evanston for 40+ years and associated with Evanston Hospital throughout his career; enjoyed constructing Federal reproduction furniture; water-skiing in Lake Michigan and stunt flying; preceded in death eight days earlier by his wife, Moira - Date of Publication
