Age 95; resident of Santa Barbara CA; daughter of Carl and Marjorie (nee McCurdy) Kelly; grew up in Winnetka IL; graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and attended U. of California at Berkeley; worked for Douglas Aircraft Company during WWII; 1953 married high school classmate; 1962-69 with husband served as volunteer caretakers of Adler Planetarium's antique instrument collection, 1970 named Co-Curators, retired in 1991; Life Trustee on Adler's Board of Trustees; longtime Board member of Penobscot Marine Museum in Penobscot ME (great-grandfather Captain Jonathan Dow sailed the ship Clarissa B. Carver out of Penobscot); preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Roderick in 1997 - Date of Publication
