Age 88; born in Bronxville, NY to James Eugene and Eva Ross Wiley and grew up in Evanston, IL; graduated Phi Beta kappa in mathematics from Wellesley College, attended graduate school at MIT; brilliant mathematician, worked at Northwestern on computerizing and testing naval jets projects, wrote the code for Nielson ratings; enjoyed playing piano, shopping, Botanic Garden, Colonial American History, Indian lore, British history and the Chicago Bulls; spoke French, Russian and Chinese; preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Taylor Wiley
