Born in Chicago IL, attended Senn High School and American Academy of Art. Worked in commercial art before marrying and moving to Evanston IL to raise family. Moved to Washington DC when husband was appointed to U.S. Court of Appeals for Armed Forces in 1990. Moved to Wilmette IL after husband's death in 1995. Member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Spent final years in Presbyterian Home. Memorial service, Elliott Chapel, Evanston IL, Feb. 18, 2017. Well known for her basket weaving.
