Age 96; resident of Glenview IL; born on a farm in Corinth ND to Harry and Selma (nee Ellis) Workman; in 1923 moved to Harmony MN, graduated from Harmony H.S. and attended U. of Minnesota; married on February 7, 1942; attended Officer Candidate School in Miami FL, commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant, sent to South Pacific combat theater with 390th (B-25 squadron) as Engineering Officer; graduated with BS in Commerce from U. of Illinois in 1947 and Juris Doctorate in Law in 1949; joined Allstate Insurance in 1955, retired after 27 years as Vice President of Real Estate and Construction; preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Helen, two siblings, Roger Workman and Louise Yeoman, and three brothers-in-law, Clinton Jones, Clarence Roa and Lawrence Sampson
