- this tribute to the late Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Soergel, 1774 Glenview rd., appeared in the current issue of the Milwaukee Railroad Magazine.
Employment: general officer of the Milwaukee Railroad Women's Club for many years; serving for the past five years as general advisory officer.
Survived by: a sister, Mrs. Paul W. Beda, and a brother, Frederick E. Homan
Spouse: the late E. W. Soergel, who had a distinguished career with the Milwaukee Road. He entered in the Chicago traffic department in 1900, subsequently serving with the U. S. Railroad Administration. Following the end of federal control he was general freight agent, assistant freight traffic manager and freight traffic manager. He was vice president in charge of traffic from February, 1948 until his death in August, 1949. - Date of Publication
