Employment: a recognized authority in hospital law, a partner in the law firm of O'Keefe, Ashenden, O'Brien and Hanson, Chicago. Formerly executive administrator and general counsel for the Chicago Medical Society and general counsel for the Illinois State Medical Society. A charter member of the Society for Hospital Attorneys. also a member of the American, Illinois and Chicago Bar Assns. and served as treasurer of the Cook County Graduate School of Medicine.
Survived by: wife, Sally; two sons, John R. of California and William E. of Chicago; two daughters, Linda of Arlington Heights and Nancy of Chicago; his mother, Mrs. Flora R. Neal and two grandchildren.
Funeral: Mass was held yesterday at Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Arlington Heights. Arrangements were made by Haire Funeral Home, Arlington Heights.
