Spouse: the late Charles Brady, a Chicago police detective who was slain in 1945 while stopping a man for questioning. At the time of his death, Mrs. Brady and her husband had nine children. She earned her degree at Loyola University and reared the children while teaching school.
Survived by: all her children: four sons, Charles Jr., Patrick, Michael, and James, five daughters, Loretta, Mrs. Bernice Trimarco, Mrs. Melissa Thies, Mrs. Susan Topia and Mrs. Stowe, her mother, Mrs. Katherine Crawley, and 43 grandchildren.
Funeral: held in St. Ignatius church in Chicago.
