Died: Aug 17 in Whitehall North Convalescent Home, Deerfield.
Employment: retired lawyer, having practiced in Chicago for many years. Former president of the Chicago Academy of Sciences; Founder, along with his wife, of what is now Chapin Hall for Children. He belonged to the University Club of Chicago.
Survived by: daughters: Mrs. William A. (Dorothy) Little of 2329 Clover Ln., Northfield., and Mrs. Gilbert H. (Alice May) Robinson of Florida; a son, William Stirling Dickinson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral: The Rev. Dr. Frank M. McClain of Christ Church, Winnetka, presided at a memorial service Tuesday at Rosehill Cemetery Chapel. Arrangements handled by the William H. Scott Funeral Home. - Date of Publication
