- Description
- In this oval shaped photograph, wooden benches or pews sit in an open-air auditorium with a few trees scattered amongst them. There are enough pews to seat a few hundred people. Many people are in the the photograph. There are cottages visible in the background as well as raised wooden platforms covered with straw and wood for evening fires in the foreground. This is in the center of Auditorium Circle.
- Notes
- This area was probably one of the first cleared for the early camp meetings. These pews surrounded an open-aired podium. In 1888, the Temple is built which replaces this auditorium.
