WHEREAS two proposed by- laws of the Corporation of the Town of Haileybury entitled a by-law authorizing the issue of debentures for Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($3,800.- 00) for the purpose of paving cer- tain streets and roads in the Town of Haileybury, namely: On Main Street from Rorke Avenue to Hardy Avenue, and a by-law authorizing the issue of deben- tures for Sexen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) for the purpose of completing the works outlined in by-law num- ber 682, being a by-law for the borrowing of the sum of Twen- ty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,- 000.00) for the construction of permanent road paving in the Town of Haileybury, on Rorke Avenue from Albert Street to Main Street, thence east on Main Street to Ferguson Avenue, thence north on Ferguson Aven- ue to Browning Street, thence northwest on Lake Shore Road to the northern limit of the Town of MHaileybury and on _ other streets, requires for its validity the assent of the electors, and it is expedient and necessary to pass this by-law for the purpose of enabling the electors to vote on the proposed by-laws.
