Perry--Hatrris A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Harris, Mar- cella Street, Saturday, March 29, when their elder daughter, Gwen- dolyn Ada, was united in mar- riage to John Charles Perry, of Kirkland Lake, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Perry, of Owen Sound. The Rev. D. A. MacKeracher officiated. The bride entered the living room on the arm of her father, at the hour of half-past one. To the strains of Lohen- grin's Wedding March, played by Miss Grace Stephen. The bride looked lovely in a gown of peach- colored silk georgette, her bou- quet being butterfly roses and lilies of the valley. She was at- tended by Miss Fernande Jacquet in a silk printed chiffon dress, carrying pink and white carna- tions and sweet peas. The groom was supported by David Reid, of Kirkland Lake. During the sign- ing of the register, Miss Grace Stephen played very effectively one of Brahm's selections. After the ceremony a dainty luncheon was served to forty guests, the dming room being decorated in pink and white. The groom's gift to the bride was a white gold wrist watch, to the bridesmaid a cameo brooch, and to the groomsman a gold cigar- ette case. The bride's gift to the groom was a cowhide club bag. The bridal party left on the 3.30 train for Kirkland Lake, where they will take up residence, amid showers of confetti and the good wishes of their many friends. The bride travelled in a brown silk canton crepe dress, with brown tweed coat, and fur, with hat to match. Among the out-of-town guests present for the ceremony were Miss B. Perry, cousin of the groom, Sudbury, Miss Jean Simp- son, Swastika, Mrs. T. Rowe, Kirkland Lake.
