White, formerly of Haileybury, was severely injured last week when she fell\from a rocking chair through a glass door, at her home in Newton- Brook, Ont. She received three cuts from the glass. across her forehead, eye and lip and nine stitches were required to close the wounds. She is getting on nicely, although weak from loss of blood. Mr. and Mrs. White were resi- dents here for a number of years.
